Brouilletts Creek Public Open House

On August 21, Brouilletts Creek Solar hosted a public informational open house for community members in Vermillion County. The event was designed to share project updates, provide transparency about the process, and hear directly from neighbors about the project layout.

Rather than a formal presentation, the open house offered a relaxed, drop-in setting where attendees could meet the project team and ask questions one-on-one. A series of display boards were available to walk through, covering topics such as:

• Engineering and project layout

• How a solar project is built

• Solar employment opportunities

• Property values

• Solar and agriculture

• Land use

• The Community Grant Program

• Visual simulations of the project
